Minimbah Fishing
Let’s face it: if you’re coming to stay at a Fishing Lodge, you probably want to fish and you want good fishing spots, right? We’ve got you covered.
Guests can easily access any of the 3 river systems from the lodge boat ramp and jetty. Fishos and water skiers can always find sheltered water and avoid the coastal breezes.
If you are not into boating, you can simply throw a line in off the riverbank. Most caught fish are Flathead, Bream, Taylor, Garfish and Mullet. Jewfish are also caught but the boating anglers have a better chance out in the deeper water of Lake Wallis or Ocean.
Mud Crabs and Blue swimmer Crabs are in abundance in the warmer Months from September through to March. Crabs can be caught from the riverbank and traps can be purchased from the lodge.

Contact us to arrange a Fishing Charter. We can arrange for you to be collected from the lodge's private jetty for a guided day of angling on the local rivers or Wallis Lake.
